Bob Cook

After many active years of hard work in growing his business, in June of 2006 Bob agreed to sell his interest in the business to John Clark, Jeff Bates and Les Rudd.  Bob remains very active in the business and is an intricate part of the agency. Bob Cook has been involved in the automotive industry since 1962. From 1962 until 1967, he gained experience at the jobber/wholesale level as a retail counter salesman, phone salesman and finally as a buyer. In 1970 Bob joined the Holley Carburetor division of Colt Industries as one of four technical specialists in the USA. From 1972-1974 Bob served as a District manager for Colt and left in 1974 to form Performance Marketers Inc. (PMI) with 13 other Colt associates. This group represented leading automotive manufacturers until June of 1979 when Bob left to form his own agency, Bob Cook Sales.

Accomplishments:
  • SEMA Board of Directors 1987-1993, serving 3 consecutive two year terms. He has chaired the WD of the Year Committee, Rep Committee, Dues Review Committee and also served on the Long Range Planning Committee, New Products Judging Committee and Person of the Year Committee.
  • PWA Person of the Year Finalist 1991, 1992,1993,1998, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 & 2005.
  • SEMA Hall of Fame  – July 2008
